Honkai: Nexus Anima at Gamescom 2026

What the Gamescom demo showed

Pocket Gamer’s hands-on describes time spent exploring Lia and its surroundings, collecting Anima and building a lineup for automatic battles. The combat uses Aspect synergies and supporting character abilities instead of real-time action attacks.

The more distinctive part was exploration. The demo let the player ride Anima and use their abilities to move through the city, cross obstacles and interact with locked routes. Anima abilities and player stats could also expose additional dialogue choices. The report noted district-specific music with separate night arrangements.

Confirmed, observed and still unknown

Confirmed by official material

Honkai: Nexus Anima is a free-to-play creature-collecting RPG. Closed testing has covered PC, iOS, Android, and Nexus Battles use Anima lineups and Aspect synergies.

Observed in the Gamescom demo

Rideable Anima, traversal abilities, route interactions, stat-sensitive dialogue and extensive free exploration around Lia. These details come from a media hands-on and may change before launch.

Still unknown

Release timing, the next test, PS5 or other console versions, final monetization, pre-registration, launch system requirements and permanent PvP formats.

What this means for release timing

Gamescom shows that a playable demonstration existed after the July test; it does not prove that launch is close. The demo produced no dated launch window or new recruitment notice. Our release tracker therefore remains TBA, while the beta timeline records only the two announced tests.
